Our commitments

Where our topics come from
A good itinerary starts with a real traveler's question. It's the same here: every topic grows out of a very concrete worry shared by people looking for a gift for a pickleball player. When the same question keeps coming up in searches, we know it deserves a page.
Nobody dictates our map. No topic is commissioned or paid for by a company or a brand.
One fact, one source
Every figure, every rule, every trend you read is tied to a public, dated source. Without that anchor, nothing gets published. At the end of each article, you'll find the list of those sources: open them if you feel like checking.
We weigh them according to a consistent hierarchy:
- first, official and institutional bodies, regulatory texts and sports federations;
- next, studies published by independent researchers;
- then the recognized press;
- last, a manufacturer's documentation, only to describe its own product, and never beyond that.
A page whose purpose is to sell you something is never used as a source. Idées à Offrir doesn't run a shop and doesn't act as a shopping comparison site either: the one who sells can't be the one who informs us.
Checks before publication
Before publishing, we set each fact against the text it comes from, the way you compare a map with the landscape. If the source doesn't confirm what we put forward, the fact is dropped. It's also dropped when the source no longer responds, or when it shows a commercial interest.
At the bottom of each article, a note explains how the facts were verified and on what date. The latest check of the whole data set dates from October 19, 2026.
When we need to correct
A source changes, or an error is spotted: the page concerned is redone, the faulty fact is corrected or removed, and the update date changes. On the other hand, we never redate a page that hasn't really changed, and no date is moved back to make a page look older.
Why there's no form or contact address
The publisher of Idées à Offrir stays anonymous, and the site keeps no trace of its readers. So there's no form and no inbox: our corrections come from rereading sources, not from mail we receive.
If you come across illegal content, report it to the host, whose contact details are in the legal notices: Legal notices.
Our independence commitments
- No sponsored content, and no text is commissioned or reviewed by a brand before publication.
- Outbound links aren't affiliate links: they lead to sources or to pages that are genuinely useful to you.
- No fake reviews, no invented testimonials.
- No fictional bylines: only the editorial team signs, collectively, everything that appears here.
